Yogyakarta, August 3^rd, 2024 – Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) officially inaugurated two proud academics, Prof. Faris Al-Fadhat, Ph.D., and Prof. Iwan Satriawan, Ph.D., as professors. This inauguration marks an extraordinary achievement for both professors, who have significantly contributed to academics, research, and community service.

Prof. Faris Al-Fadhat, Ph.D., is an expert in International Political Economy. He is known for his critical thinking skills and sharp analysis of the dynamics of the international political economy. The inauguration as a professor is a recognition of his dedication and integrity in the academic world, and it further honors his name as one of the leading thinkers in international relations studies in Indonesia.

Prof. Iwan Satriawan, Ph.D., has expertise in law and is involved in many critical research studies related to law and constitutional issues. He is known for his commitment to strengthening justice and his dedication to educating the next generation of future constitutional judges. His professorship is a testament to his contribution and central role in developing legal science in Indonesia.
