Attention to all researchers and faculty members in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY)!

We are pleased to announce the opening of submissions for thematic research proposals for the year 2026 in Yogyakarta City. This year’s theme is “Strengthening Local Potential as the Foundation for Transformative Development Towards the Welfare of Yogyakarta City’s Community.”

Key Themes:

1. Local Potential
   Local potential refers to the wealth or distinctive characteristics of an area, both physical and non-physical, that can be further developed to become a competitive advantage and provide solutions for the region’s challenges.
2. Transformative Development
   Transformative development refers to the process of development that is conducted more effectively and efficiently, achieving better, more comprehensive results with increased accessibility and greater benefits for the community.
3. Community Welfare
   The ultimate goal of development is to achieve community welfare by utilizing local potential through a comprehensive, transformative development process.

Researchers and academics are encouraged to submit proposals that explore innovative and practical solutions that leverage Yogyakarta’s local potential for sustainable development and community welfare.
