Hokkaido, Japan (2/12) – On Monday, December 2, 2024, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) carried out an academic visit to Hokkaido University. The HR Development and Career Institute (LPKSDM) and the Research and Innovation Institute (LRI) conducted this visit.

On this visit, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta was represented by Prof. Dr. Nano Prawoto, SE., M.Sc., Deputy Chancellor for Human Resources; Prof. Dr. Dyah Mutiarin, S.I.P., M.Si., Head of Research and Innovation Institute; Prof. Dr. Adhianty Nurjanah, S.Sos., M.Sc., Head of HR Development and Career Institute; Prof. Dr. SN Nurul Makiyah, S.Sc., M.Kes., Head of Lecturer and Educational Careers Division; and Dr. Agus Tri Basuki, SE, M.Sc., Head of Development and Data Division.

The visit was welcomed by Megasari Marsela, DVM, Ph.D. She is currently employed as a post-doctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Environmental Health, Faculty of Health Sciences, Hokkaido University.

This visit was performed to explore the potential for a mutually beneficial partnership between UMY and Hokkaido University, as well as to investigate potential opportunities for research collaboration.
