Yogyakarta (5/6) The Bantul Regency hosted another prestigious annual event, the Bantul Innovation Award. Several renowned figures, including Prof. Dr. Dyah Mutiarin, S.IP., M.Si., from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, served as judges during the event, which took place on June 4–5, 2024.

The Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency of Bantul Regency, in Decree No. T/800.1.11.2024: T/800.1.11.1/00163/RIDA/2024, requested Prof. Dr. Dyah Mutiarin to serve on a jury that would evaluate nominees from various groups, including the community, the education sector, and the regional and village apparatus.

The purpose of this event is to honor the innovations that Bantul Regency has implemented. Prof. Dr. Dyah Mutiarin, along with other judges, assessed the nominees’ presentations based on several criteria, such as an overview of innovation, networking and selection of innovation ideas, benefits of innovation, impact of innovation, and innovation results.

The first day of the Bantul Innovation Award 2024 began with Bappeda Bantul’s remarks and presentations. Next, nominees from various categories made presentations at Sekar Mataram, Bangunjiwo, Kasihan, and Bantul. We will give each nominee 15 minutes to present their innovation, which includes 7 minutes for the presentation and 8 minutes for a question-and-answer session.

The judges will conduct a plenary meeting behind closed doors on the second day to determine the winner. Each participant will receive their final results based on a combination of the maturity value of the innovation indicator, the innovation presentation value, and an assessment that takes into account their mastery of the material, the quality of their presentation delivery, and the alignment of the presented material with the presentation’s content.

Prof. Dr. Dyah Mutiarin at Bantul Innovation Award 2024 provides motivation and inspiration for participants to continue to innovate in various fields. We expect the resulting innovations to positively impact Bantul Regency’s development and enhance the welfare of its people.
