Excellent, UMY Successfully Received Funding for 63 DRTPM Proposals
Yogyakarta (1/6) – The Directorate of Research, Technology, and Community Service (DRTPM) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology has announced the results of the selection of proposals for the 2024 Fiscal Year Research and Community Service Program. The release stated that 63 proposals from lecturers at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta had passed the selection and received funding for the DRTPM program.
This announcement marks a significant achievement for Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta in improving the quality of research and community service. The research funding program 2024 is divided into 3 main funding schemes: 1) Basic Research Scheme, 2) Applied Research Scheme, and 3) Overseas Cooperation Research Scheme.
The Basic Research Scheme is expected to increase the capacity of researchers and build a track record that leads to a superior research culture. Outputs from basic research schemes are encouraged to become leverage towards applied research and development schemes and strengthen networks between universities.
The Applied Research Scheme is expected to be a vehicle for incubating technology or innovation to be rolled out or applied and to accommodate the increase in the expertise of researchers in their fields of expertise so that they can become international references. The Overseas Cooperation Research Scheme is expected to encourage more comprehensive research to face the rapid development of science and technology in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
Hopefully, this extraordinary success will accelerate other academic achievements for Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Thus, the research, community service, and technological innovation atmosphere at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta are hoped to grow even more rapidly.
