Yogyakarta (15/12) – The Center for Public Policy and Digital Government, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta with Bappeda Gunungkidul Regency (Eng: regional planning and development agency) carried out the finalization of the 2025-2045 Gunungkidul RPJPD document at the room of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Resources, Dasron Hamid Research and Innovation Center Building. This meeting was attended directly by Sri Suhartanta, Regional Secretary of Gunungkidul Regency; Mohamad Arif Aldian, M.Si., the Head of Bappeda Gunungkidul; UMY Expert Team, Prof. Dr. Dyah Mutiarin, M.Sc. and Slamet Riyadi, PhD.

The finalization of the RPJPD document for Gunungkidul Regency for 2025-2045 aims to complete the RPJPD arrangement, including the vision, mission, goals, targets, strategies, and direction of regional development policy for the next 20 years. It was carried out through various stages of public consultation, aiming to integrate cross-sector development.

This finalization activity mainly aims to turn the 2025-2045 RPJPD of Gunungkidul Regency to become a reference for the government in formulating policies and programs by considering regional conditions and potential. The documents are expected to be in line with the long-term development vision at both regional and national levels.

The several stages in preparing the RPJPD are part of an ongoing process in regional planning and development. Next, the RPJPD document, which has gone through several stages, will enter the submission process to the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) of Gunungkidul Regency before being finalized and ratified.
