The excitement of the National Working Meeting of the Association of Muhammadiyah Higher Education Government Science (AIPPTM)

Yogyakarta (07/03) – Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta contributed to the National Working Meeting of the Association of Muhammadiyah Higher Education Government Science (AIPPTM) held at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember. The Muhammadiyah Higher Education Government Science Association (AIPPTM) in collaboration with the Government Science Program of Muhammadiyah Jember University held the XI National Work Meeting which was held on March 6-7, 2024. This year’s Rakernas activity in addition to discussing the future organizational design, there was also an international curriculum workshop and a Higher Education Grant Writing Clinic.

National Working Meeting of AIPPTM

The objectives of organizing this National Working Meeting include: 1) Ensuring the sustainability of the organization of the Association of Government Science Study Programs within Muhammadiyah and Aisyah Universities, 2) Being the first step in improving the accreditation of study programs both in the national and international arena, 3) Ensuring the quality and quality of learning through discussions on the preparation of strategic learning for future lectures.

Muhammadiyah, a non-governmental organization that operates independently, can collaborate with various parts of society to add to the facilities provided by the state, such as establishing educational institutions. As a form of Muhammadiyah’s appreciation for the achievement of one of the nation’s ideals stated in the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution, namely educating the nation’s life, Muhammadiyah has actively contributed to this, as shown by the establishment of hundreds of universities managed independently by Muhammadiyah authorities.

In addition, Muhammadiyah established a study program-level association. This is part of the Association of Muhammadiyah Higher Education Government Science (AIPPTM). In addition, through accreditation and the establishment of a strategic curriculum, the association was established to enable discussion and cooperation regarding the improvement of quality and learning standards. the complexity of ever-changing theoretical developments, study programs must change to adapt to current developments. To improve learning, curricula must be adjusted and adapted to the needs of the times, and programs must be accredited nationally and internationally to guarantee their quality.

The preparation of the Ristekdikti 2024 proposal has an important role in the advancement of Indonesian technology and science. Research and development programs in various scientific fields can be designed, allocated, and implemented based on this proposal. Research institutes, universities, and other stakeholders can discover urgent needs and find solutions to the challenges of the times by creating a comprehensive and structured proposal.
